After his stint at FCMB ,Kalu returned to running Consumer Passion Point offering marketing consultancy and training to  mostly corporate clients. 

Most of Kalu’s experience has been at consumer product companies. He was a Brand Support manager with Guinness Nigeria in 2001.He moved to MTN Nigeria the following year where he was appointed Trade Marketing Manager. Six years later, he moved to rival Zain Telecomms, where he was Head of Retention and Loyalty.

Kalu graduated with a Bsc in Business Administration from University of Lagos in 1992.He later obtained an MBA in Marketing from University of Nigeria in 2005 and a graduate diploma in marketing from the University of Leicester in 2011.
